The SROI Project is a Scottish Government funded programme is designed to develop, promote and support the use of Social Return on Investment across the third sector in Scotland. The work is being undertaken by a consortium of organisations with Forth Sector Development as the lead partner.
The Scottish Government and The Office of the Third Sector (OTS) recognise that demonstrating added social, economic and environmental value is important for third sector organizations, their funders, investors and commissioners and is becoming increasingly important for the public and private sectors. The Scottish Government and the OTS have therefore funded complimentary programmes to develop and disseminate SROI.
The SROI Project aims to develop, promote and support the use of a standard form for measuring social return on investment delivered by the Third Sector in Scotland.
